Thousands of music fans have descended on Worthy Farm in Somerset for the first Glastonbury festival since 2019.

The event is returning after being shelved for two years due to the pandemic, and is set to be bigger and better than ever with more than 3,000 acts set to perform across the weekend.

Saturday will see Sir Paul McCartney become the festival’s oldest headline act ever after the legendary Beatle – who turned 80 earlier this year – takes to the Pyramid stage later in the evening.

And despite rail strikes – with another planned for Saturday – set to cause chaos for those heading to the festival and storms threatening to soak revellers, fans are set to enjoy a bumper weekend of arts and entertainment at the iconic event.

If you’re still trying to decide whose set to watch, here’s who is playing today, along with their performance times and which stage you’ll find them on.
