Christian Bale is up for playing Batman again if director Christopher Nolan also returned: ‘I’d only ever make it with him’-Kim Novak-Entertainment – Metro

Christian Bale has revealed he would be up for reprising his role as Batman as long as Christopher Nolan also signed up to direct it.
The actor, 48, who played the Caped Crusader in the Dark Knight trilogy revealed he could be tempted to put the Bat-suit back on under certain conditions.
Christian told Phase Zero that he hasn’t been approached for the role by Warner Bros, joking: ‘No, no, no. Nobody, nobody reaches out to me or they keep me like a mushroom, keep me in the dark and feed me s**t.
‘For me, that would be a matter of Chris Nolan, if he ever decided to do it again and if he chose to come my way again, then yeah, I would consider it because that was always our pact between each other is we would just stick to it.
‘We said we would only ever make three. And then I said to myself, and I’d only ever make it with Chris.’
Christian, who starred in Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, recently revealed that he hasn’t actually seen the latest instalment in the franchise.

He is yet to see Robert Pattinson star in The Batman but recently hailed him a ‘wonderful actor’ and said his casting as the DC superhero was a ‘good choice’.
Christian also previously revealed his one piece of advice for anyone taking on the role of Batman – to make sure the iconic costume was easy enough to remove for toilet breaks, which was what he had told Ben Affleck.
He joked to Variety: ‘Oh, same as Ben, just be able to pee by yourself. You don’t feel like a superhero when you aren’t able to p**s by yourself!’
