It seems Love Island star Maura Higgins could have a new beau after she attended a barbecue with footballer Connor Wickham.
The reality star, 31, and Milton Keynes Dons player, 29, have been the centre of romance rumours in recent weeks after reportedly being introduced last month.
And as Maura jetted off on a lavish holiday to Paris in May, speculation abounded that the mystery man she was allegedly with was none other than the centre-forward.
While their romance is unconfirmed, it appears the pair are becoming more relaxed in sharing that they are spending time together, as they both made the most of the sunny weather over the weekend by attending a barbecue.
Both Maura and Connor shared photos from the relaxed gathering, and while neither featured in each other’s snaps, eagle-eyed fans noticed the pictures were taken in the same garden.
Dancing On Ice star Maura shared snaps of the mouth-watering platter on display at the barbecue, featuring both meat and plant-based food, bread and cold pasta salad as they enjoyed a balmy 19 degrees.

Also present at the barbecue was Maura’s pal Laura, who also posted photos of the food on offer and danced to a chair to traditional Irish music as Maura joked she was ‘definitely Irish.’
Maura also let her hair down, showing off her goofy side as she danced to Michael Jackson’s hit Thriller, complete with the swinging zombie arms and march featured in the iconic music video.

While Maura and Connor are clearly spending time together, they’re far from Instagram official, having posted no photos together and Maura not updating fans on her relationship status.
However The Sun reported earlier in June that they had gone off on a romantic Paris trip together, with a source saying the reality star was ‘totally ad’ about the footballer.
The source went on to suggest a friend of Maura’s had introduced the pair and they had been talking ‘for some time’, even suggesting the pair had made things ‘official’ between them.

Maura is believed to have been single since her relationship with Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice ended in October.
The pair enjoyed a whirlwind four-month relationship and there had been rumours they were planning to move in together before the news of a sudden split emerged.

Connor, meanwhile, was last linked to model Kayla Codorna; they were in a long-term relationship and share a five-year-old son, Jax.
