Brandi Glanville has opened up about her abortion while she was in high school, insisting she feels no shame in her decision.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star – who is currently starring on the second season of the Ultimate Girls Trip spin-off – recently revealed that she terminated a pregnancy when she was 17.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live alongside Jill Zarin, host Andy Cohen asked for their thoughts on the shocking US Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade.

‘I’m horrified about what happened this week with Roe v. Wade,’ RHONY alum Jill said.

‘I myself had an abortion when I was in my late teens. It was my choice, and I don’t know how my life would have been different today.’

When asked if she had also had an abortion, Brandi simply replied: ‘I did at 17.’

‘I had a choice & I was still a child myself.’

Fans flooded the mom-of-two’s post with love and support, thanking her for sharing her experience so publicly.

A follower replied: ‘Love you Brandi! I’m glad you felt comfortable sharing this and I’m glad you made the right choice for you!

‘A woman’s body should not be something to legislate.’

‘That was very brave and thank you for sharing your story…,’ a Twitter user commented. ‘That had to be very hard.’

‘Thank you for sharing your story on such an important topic. Love you Brandi,’ another agreed.

‘No judgement whatsoever,’ one added. ‘You should not even have to explain yourself to anyone xxx.’

The US Supreme Court decided to end constitutional protections for abortion last week, overturning the landmark Roe v Wade decision which ensured those who sought a termination would be able to access healthcare services.

The overturn means that individual states now are able to determine how they will regulate terminations – making it illegal for women to end their pregnancies in certain states

Stars around the world widely condemned the decision, with many sharing their own termination experiences.

In an emotional post on Instagram, Orange Is The New Black actress Laura Prepon recently reflected on her painful decision.

‘One of the worst days of my life was when I made the choice to terminate a pregnancy in the second trimester,’ she captioned a picture as she stood in front of a rainbow.

‘The devastating truth is that we found out the fetus would not survive to full term, and that my life was at risk as well.
