Whenever I shop at Primark I buy in loads of different sizes – I can be anything from an 8 to a 14

EVERY fashion fan knows that sometimes you aren’t the size you thought you were in Primark.

And one woman has taken to TikTok to explain that the budget store’s frequent sizing discrepancies are the reason she always buys things in multiple sizes when she shops there.

Rachel Bacon took to TikTok to explain why she always buys different sizes of clothing in Primark, demonstrating by getting her arm stuck in this colourful dressTikTok / @rayylouise_

She also wasn’t sure about this dress, as she admitted her boobs were below the empire line of the dressTikTok / @rayylouise_

She said she’d be sending this one back too because she didn’t think it was very flatteringTikTok / @rayylouise_

Rachel Bacon posted her “summer try on Primark haul” on the social media site as she began: “I picked them up in a range of sizes.

“I had a few comments on some of my TikToks about why I buy loads of different sizes.

“I just find that depending on the shop or the style of the item I can be anywhere from an eight to a 14.”

She began her try on session with a cute peach-print smock minidress, which she got in a size 10, but wasn’t too sure if it was all that flattering on her.

DRESS TO IMPRESS

I’m a size 18 & Matalan’s £20 gingham midi dress is ideal for busty women

PRIMANIA

I’ve got big boobs but Primark’s £8 dupe of the Skims bodysuit is an amazing fit

“I really like the pattern and design on it but I think that one will probably be a no,” she sighed.

Next, she tried on a white maxi dress which she’d picked up in a size 8.

“It’s really tight on my hip area – I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be tight there or if it’s just because I have hips,” she said.

“It’s still like not bulging but I’m just not sure if the style is supposed to be like this.”

The third dress she tried was her biggest “fail” of the haul, as she admitted she couldn’t “even get my other arm through”.

“This is why I buy all different sizes in Primark because it is literally busting at my boobs,” she fumed.

“So that one is going back.”

A square-neck blue dress was next, but again wasn’t too flattering on her bust.

“I don’t have a bra on and my boobs are like here,” she said, gesticulating to below the empire-line of the dress.

“They’re not even in this bit.

“I’m really thinking this is a no, it’s not very flattering, it’s just a lot of material.”

Sighing, she sarcastically added: “This is going well!”

Rachel had more success with the last item though – a plain white dress with a cut-out on the stomach.

“That one was the best – I guess that’s the only one I can keep,” she concluded.

She also tried this white maxi dress in a size 8, but it was quite tight around the hipsTikTok / @rayylouise_
