So what does that leave? For us, it’s a selection of boring over-sized shirts and mumsy maxi-dresses.
But it doesn’t have to be this way – as fashion expert Claire Hall has shared her five styling tips to help bigger-busted women dress for summer.
Posting on her Instagram page, the personal stylist recommended opting for V-neck dresses with a puff sleeve.
She explained: “The semi-fitted bodice of this dress provides structure and the V-neck and vertical line of buttons slim the frame.

“The puff sleeves balance the bust. Take care that the sleeves don’t sit at the bust.
“Make them higher so that they draw the line of vision upward.”

Secondly, Claire recommended a square neckline to “cut the bust” and cover cleavage.
What’s more, the fashion pro opted for a top which had this cut AND puff sleeves to “provide balance and structure.”
She added: “A styling trick if you want to draw attention away from a large bust is to wear something bold and bright on your lower half.
“Keep the top half really simple so that the focus is on the bottom.”
The stylist also demonstrated how an off-the-shoulder cut also looks super classy.
She said: “It draws attention to the shoulders and a cleverly placed frill will conceal the bust.
“Add a necklace to continue to draw the eye upwards.”
Finally, Claire urged women to pick up an elongated V-neck top or dress that sits on the shoulders to minimise the bust and show off some décolletage.
“Absolutely brilliant styling tips,” one fan gushed.
