Machine Gun Kelly says he was left bloodied by a champagne flute after trying to clink it during a toast… by smashing it against his forehead.
In a video uploaded to his Instagram story, the rap star-turned-rockstar, 32, can be seen shouting out during an afterparty that he ‘[doesn’t] give a s***’ before cracking it over his face.
The afterparty took place at New York City’s Catch Steakhouse following the Rap Devil hitmaker’s show at Madison Square Garden earlier this week.
Kelly now admits that he ‘[feels] like s***’ after the incident, which left him with a gash above his eye.
Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Kelly’s wound could still be seen above his eyebrow during the interview.
Kelly explained to Meyers, 48, that he was unable to get peoples’ attention by clinking a fork against the glass, so decided to smash it on his head instead.

‘You know when you clink a champagne glass with a fork to kind of [get people’s attention]? Yeah, well, I didn’t have a fork, so I just clinked it on my head.’
The chat show host laughed, and joked: ‘You know, in medicine, they call that “asking for it”…’
Kelly appeared to be in high spirits on the show despite the accident with the glass, wearing a signature garish outfit of pink and silver.
He was seen leaving the steakhouse on Wednesday night alongside fiancée Megan Fox, 36. The pair held hands as they exited the restaurant and headed home.
The incident came shortly after the release of Kelly’s documentary Machine Gun Kelly’s Life In Pink debuted on Hulu.
The documentary gives viewers a frank behind-the-scenes look at Kelly’s life behind closed doors as he grapples with fame and mental health issues.

The singer admits in the documentary that he attempted suicide while the former Transformers actress was on the phone.
‘I’m yelling on the phone and like the barrel is in my mouth. And I go to cock the shotgun and the bullet as it comes back up – the shell just gets jammed. Megan’s like dead silent.’
Kelly eases viewers’ fears, however, by explaining that support from Fox and from his 12-year-old daughter Cassie has convinced him to ‘kick the drugs for real this time’.
