Former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Lady Colin Campbell is reportedly ‘in talks’ to get involved in the upcoming all-stars series.

The hit reality show has been on for nearly 20 years, with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly remaining at the helm for nearly all of that time.

And to mark the milestone, the pair will be filming a special two-week-long series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! this summer, in addition to the usual series – featuring some of fans’ favourite old faces.

But with speculation rife over who might enter the jungle for a second time, another name has been put forward.

Socialite and royal commentator Lady Campbell, who famously had quite a dramatic stint down under back in 2015, could be returning.

An ITV source said: ‘Lady C was not exactly a fan favourite. She isn’t one to mince her words and certainly got people talking.

The series was eventually won by Vicky Pattinson (R) (Picture: ITV)

‘She was divisive and largely disliked by her camp mates but she made fascinating telly.’

The insider added to The Sun: ’Producers are confident they can convince her to take part in the All-Stars series — despite the slightly sour ending to her regular appearance.’

The following month, she left the programme before its conclusion ‘on medical grounds’

However, in a later interview, Campbell said that she felt bullied into leaving the show by Tony Hadley and Duncan Bannatyne, something they both denied.

Other stars rumoured as being eyed up by bosses for a return include Stacey Solomon, Gillian McKeith and Coronation Street star, Helen Flanagan.

Paul Burrell and Richard Madeley have also been linked to the upcoming series.

Ant and Dec will be back hosting, of course (Picture: PA)

Earlier this year, the spin-off was confirmed by ITV, with Ant and Dec spilling a bit of the tea on what fans can expect.

While chatting to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning back in May, Ant explained: ‘It’s a spin-off from the main show, where we have ex-campmates who’ve all come together in South Africa, competing in challenges and trials.’

But he quickly turned to his co-host and said: ‘Should I keep talking?’

Dec reminded him: ‘I don’t think you should, I think this is a secret!’

However, as Ant continued to give the gossip, Dec replied: ‘He’s gone again, he can’t stop talking!’, with his colleague insisting the viewers ‘want to know.’

Fans still have no clue who will be entering the jungle for a second spell, with things being kept tightly under wraps.

But with the series set to be filmed this summer, it won’t be long until viewers find out who they’ll be seeing a bit more of in their campmate gear.

Metro.co.uk has contacted ITV for comment.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns later this year to ITV.
