Adele’s made it clear she doesn’t exactly keep up with TikTok’s latest goings-on – but even she couldn’t resist a little reference during her BST gigs.

The Easy On Me hitmaker lit up London’s Hyde Park over the weekend for a pair of sensational shows that saw her belt out classics and newer hits, with a very star-studded audience watching on.

So when it came to her song Water Under The Bridge, which went viral on TikTok when fans realised it worked perfectly with a video of Megan Thee Stallion dancing, she clearly had to give us some moves.

She kept it subtle, performing the first few moves as she sang and then giving up on the routine, but eagle-eyed fans spotted exactly what she was doing – including Megan herself who dubbed her ‘Hot Girl Adele’.

She’s not wrong.

Megan, 27, previously called on Adele, 34, for a collab after seeing how well her dance fit with the song, and we could not be more here for it.

‘Oh my God. Yes. I’ve seen it,’ she told People of the trend.

‘If Adele wants me to come get on the track, be the dancer, I’m there, I’m here for it. Somebody tell her to call me because I’m ready!’

Meanwhile, Adele previously shut down any suggestion that she would make music geared to the TikTok generation (although it seems she accidentally has).

‘If everyone’s making music for the TikTok, who’s making music for my generation?’ she asked Zane Lowe during an interview. ‘Who’s making the music for my peers? I will do that job, gladly.’

The Hyde Park gigs were a glorious homecoming for the singer, who released her album 30 earlier this year.

Stars including Tom Cruise, Ant and Dec, and James Corden were out in force to support the star, but she likely only had eyes for one person in the crowd – her nine-year-old son Angelo, who was also there supporting her.

She was clearly thrilled to be back, bursting into tears as she took to the stage on Friday.
