Love Island’s Jack Keating’s mother addresses cruel comments from trolls on social media since Casa Amor debut -Kim Novak-Entertainment – Metro

Jack Keating’s mother Yvonne Connolly has addressed the cruel comments her son has received from trolls since his debut on Love Island’s Casa Amor. 

The 23-year-old social media manager, who Yvonne shares with ex-husband Ronan Keating, joined the show last week as one of the bombshells for the girls in Casa Amor. 

However, as well as a vast majority of fans swooning over him, Jack also faced some cruel comments about his red hair and pale skin. 

Whole Yvonne did not call out the specific comments, she did address that the reaction to his appearance on the show was far more positive on Instagram than it had been on Twitter.

She shared a photo of Jack on her Instagram story, adding: ‘After the teaser I’m looking forward to watching Jack tonight on Love Island.

‘Thank you so much for all your comments. All positive (can’t say the same for other platforms).

‘So many people wishing Jack well and rooting for him. It means so much. My heart.’

Yvonne and Ronan have both thrown their support behind Jack as he entered the villa, with the proud mama writing before he went in: ‘Love island has been providing the entertainment and bringing the drama this season. 

‘Just when I thought I can’t take anymore excitement my son Jack keating is heading in to Casa Amor tonight. (It was a hard secret to keep !!)’

Ronan has also previously shared his pride at Jack’s appearance on the reality dating show, adding: ‘I won’t lie, I’ve been nervous as hell.

‘When I saw him walk into the villa my heart was beating out of my chest. I’m excited for him though, this is something he wanted to do, and I’ll always support him and all my kids in their endeavours.

‘The house is not the same without him and his little brother and sister are missing playing with him every day but we’re tuning in every night to get our Jack fix and see where this adventure takes him.’

Ronan share eldest son Jack, and daughters Missy, 21, and Ali, 16, with ex-wife Yvonne, and also has son Cooper, five, and daughter Coco, two, with wife Storm Keating. 

 Love Island airs weekdays from 9pm on ITV2.
