Love Island 2022 shows no signs of slowing down, even if the final could be looming near.

The always-controversial Casa Amor came to an end last night, with the original contestants in the line-up deciding whether they wanted to stick or twist and recouple with one of the new cast members brought in to tempt couples to stray.

And for original boy Dami Hope, his summer had just begun, as he decided to couple up with Casa Amor girl Summer Botwe and split from Indiyah Polack.

As Summer joins the main villa, here’s what we know about her, from her business to her famous father…

How old is Summer Botwe?

Summer is 22 years old.

She comes from Hertfordshire.

She revealed on the show while joining that she’s been unlucky in love for the most part.

She said: ‘I just end up being that “other person” in a situation and I’ll be talking to somebody and they’ll find somebody else and I’m the other person they string along for a bit and I get ghosted.’

Who is Summer Botwe’s famous dad?

Summer’s father is garage MC and DJ, MC CKP.

The DJ has won plenty of awards for his contribution to the garage scene, including coming in fifth place in the Chicago House Music Charts.

MC CKP has been supporting his daughter on Instagram since she joined.

What is Summer Botwe’s job?

Summer is the co-owner of an events décor business.

Speaking about joining the show, Summer said she didn’t think twice about the opportunity.

‘Why would I not? I’m not in a relationship, I’m not talking to anyone, why not just go for it and see what happens!’ she said on the show.

And she might have manifested her recent coupling, revealing from the start that she had eyes for Dami.

She said, ‘I feel like I might end up bringing some drama because I do want to go full force with Dami… but I’m definitely just bringing fun and good vibes for sure.’
