Nia Jax has shown off her epic transformation after dyeing her hair bright pink.

The former WWE superstar – who was shockingly released by the company back in November 2021 – hasn’t wrestled since losing to Shayna Baszler on Raw two months earlier, and fans will be stunned by her new look.

Going by her real name Lina Fanene, the star shared a stunning selfie on Instagram showing off her fresh style, with her hair straightened and dyed a pastel pink.

She simply captioned the photo with a red heart and shining star emoji, while her friends and fans were quick to offer kind words in the comments.

Former WWE broadcaster Renee Paquette – known as Renee Young during her time with the company – replied: ‘Yessssss the bangs!!!’

SmackDown star Charlotte Flair called Lina ‘stunning’, and Raquel Rodriguez added: ‘Wooooooo siiiii mamiii 🔥🔥🔥 más massss!!!!!’

Although the former women’s champion is yet to set foot in a ring since her release, she seemed poised for a comeback at the inaugural Wrestling Entertainment Series (WES) show, which was initially delayed before being cancelled.

The new promotion – set up by ex-WWE duo the Authors of Pain – was meant to hold their delayed inaugural event – originally set for June 4 – on July 9, but they pulled the plug with just days to go.

In a statement last Wednesday, WES confirmed the show had been axed, and put the blame on wrestlers pulling out late in the day – although many performers initially advertised have dismissed this version of events.

They claimed all talent scheduled to appear had been paid in full, while they said Lina was paid her deposit before deciding not to appear.

They added: ‘We do want to say that all our talent that was scheduled have been paid in full and that Lina Fanene was paid her deposit as well while she changed her mind and did not want to show up and wrestle anymore.

‘For now we will have to apologize for this, but we promise that it will not end here. See you soon!’

She had already revealed on June 23 she wouldn’t be appearing as she accused the promotion of being unprofessional, while Fightful Select reported that poor ticket sales – between 300 and 400 for the 10,000 capacity venue – were partly to blame for the show’s cancellation.

Meanwhile, the star had previously suggested it was ‘highly unlikely’ she’d wrestle again, while she has also claimed she turned down a WWE offer for a Royal Rumble return back in January.
