Jameela Jamil has seen the backlash over the latest She-Hulk: Attorney at Law photos but she doesn’t want people to overreact too much.

The 36-year-old actress will be playing super strong villain Titania in Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series, and she’s thankfully seen the funny side after some criticism over a first look, in-character picture which surfaced late last week.

The snap shows Jameela in full costume looking a little windswept as she looked to be storming through a courtroom in a black suit and corset with gold fringe.

Fans had plenty to say about the photo, with many insisting the team working on the show had ‘done her dirty’, but the star has insisted that’s simply not the case.

Responding to Pop Cave’s post sharing the snap, she replied with a skull and crying laughing emoji and wrote: ‘Omg this photo.. Guys… I accept every ounce of shade here, but in defense of my excellent hair stylist, this is just my hair after a 14 hour stunt day in atlanta heat. Just after being upside down. (sic)’

She heaped praise on her stylist for the work she’s done on the show as a whole, and jokingly turned the attention away from her hair.

Omg this photo..💀😂 Guys… I accept every ounce of shade here, but in defense of my excellent hair stylist, this is just my hair after a 14 hour stunt day in atlanta heat. Just after being upside down. She did a *great* job on the show I promise. I love her. Boobs look ok tho? pic.twitter.com/oWZy0Bi23b

‘She did a *great* job on the show I promise. I love her,’ she added. ‘Boobs look ok tho?’

When a fan responded asking if ‘hanging upside down’ was ‘bad for hair, good for boobs’, Jameela said: ‘They were taped in.’

Well, that settles that then.

In another post, she shared her joy at joining the voice cast of DC League of Superpets, noting that she’s living an absolute dream as she shared Dwayne Johnson’s post hyping her role.

She tweeted: ‘3 things. I’m playing WONDER WOMAN in the new Super Pets film. The Rock now knows who I am and tweeted this. I am in DC and MCU and Star Trek at the same time and my little teenage brain is f**king exploding.’

Because apparently we can’t have nice things, someone hit back claiming her She-Hulk role doesn’t count because they claimed ‘nobody asked for it and it looks like s**t’, while they also discredited her Star Trek role.

Jameela brilliantly replied: ‘She hulk had the Most watched trailer in 24 hours in Marvel history… and all of it counts.

‘Life is short. Be less stressed and miserable. Go do something nice for yourself today! Let’s not talk to each other like this! Sending love!’

She-Hulk: Attorney At War is coming to Disney+ on August 17.
