Ackley Bridge is set to return to our TV screens – a shock to some fans who thought the season had been axed.
The hit Channel 4 show follows the students and teachers in the fictitious Yorkshire mill town.
The series will see the return of stars Ryan Dean, who plays Johnny Cooper, and Fizza Akhtar actress Yasmin Al-Khudhairi, as well as some new faces.
Carla Woodcock, who played Marina Perry, has been replaced by actress Megan Morgan.
New castings include Adam Little as Kyle Perry, the younger brother of Marina, and Laila Zaidi as Asma, a new teacher at the school.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK fans will also be delighted to hear Baga Chipz will have a guest appearance this season.
But when is series five set to air? And how can you catch up on seasons one to four?
When is Ackley Bridge series five on TV?
The new 10-part series of Ackley Bridge began on Channel 4 on July 11 at 10pm.
Two episodes are airing each night until July 15.
The final two episodes will then air on July 16 from 11.05pm.
All episodes will be available to watch on All 4 after they have aired.
The first five episodes of the new season will see Top Boy actor Ashley Walters make his TV directorial debut.

Ackley Bridge series five will begin on July 12 at 10pm on Channel 4.
