Good Morning Britain viewers were left feeling emotional after a seven-year-old girl who had escaped the war in Ukraine performed Frozen’s Let It Go in the studio.

Amelia Anisovych, who went viral after singing Let It Go from a bunker in Ukraine, reunited with Susanna Reid in the GMB studio to sing her favourite song.

The pair had previously met in April earlier this year, after Susanna travelled to the Ukrainian border to conduct the ‘special interview’.

The young girl – dubbed the voice of hope – and her mum joined hosts Susanna and Ed Balls to give an update on life after fleeing Ukraine, and Amelia gave a performance of her infamous tune in an impressive three language.

After her performance, Amelia shared a cuddle with a beaming Susanna, after Amelia had gifted the presenter with a drawing she had made.

Speaking about being in London, Amelia shared that she was having a lot of fun, loved seeing Big Ben, and saw a ‘magical’ performance of Frozen on stage.

She added: ‘When I grow up, I would like to be a big, big singer.’

Through Amelia’s voice coach Anna Grabowksa, Amelia’s mum Lilia thanked the UK for its support and urged viewers not to forget about the Ukraine conflict, ‘because when you forget about it, it’s going to be very, very bad.’

Of a possible return to their homeland, where Amelia’s father remains, an emotional Lilia said, ‘I would like to go back, but it’s not possible, it’s very dangerous.’
