IT’S common to suffer something of a style confidence wobble when you’re a new mum.

But one stylist has revealed some top tips on how to dress your post-baby body.

Stylist Puneet Brar has shared her top tips on how to dress your post-baby bodyinstagram

She suggested going for a high-rise jean or trouser in a sturdy fabric, as well as a blousy, looser topinstagram

She showed the difference between the grey midi dress she wore at the beginning and the jeans and top she changed intoinstagram

Mum-of-two Puneet Brar took to The Stylist Twins, the Instagram page that she shares with her sister – Suneet Brar – to showcase the outfits she’s found the most flattering for her new figure.

Firstly, she recommended opting for a higher rise in trousers and jeans, as it can “tuck everything in”.

She also suggested picking a sturdier fabric, such as denim, that can help to “flatten” things where you need it.

The temptation to size down as you lose weight after giving birth is real, but Puneet added that it’s best not to size down in clothes – as it can end up giving you a muffin top.

And Puneet’s fourth top is to opt for a blouse or a blousier, looser top.

“Nothing too fitted, as it will show more,” she said.

She showed herself wearing a bodycon grey midi dress, which clung to her figure, and compared it to a pair of high-waisted jeans and a blousy pink top.

“For those who say I have a flat tummy…no I don’t,” she concluded.

“I have had two babies and I love my new body with all the extra pounds at the wrong places.

“I am proud and confident with what I have and I have learnt to dress it up the right way.”

Puneet was quickly praised in the comments for sharing her post-partum fashion tips, with one person writing: “Totally Loved this one.”
