Zendaya has revealed that she was left needing stitches after slicing her finger badly while attempting to cook.
The Euphoria star, 25, took to Instagram to walk her followers through the ordeal with her, first sharing a snap of her left index finger bleeding through a thick bandage.
She told her followers: ‘See now … this is why I don’t cook.’
The injury appeared to be worse than she first thought as she shared an update an hour later showing medics in gloves stitching the wound.
While the gory details were blocked out by the hands in the shot, they were seen working with medical thread and scissors to patch her up.
Zendaya didn’t let the mishap get her down as she soon shared another snap of herself in the mirror, holding her bandaged finger aloft.

She joked: ‘Baby’s first stitches lol back to never cooking again,’ as she smiled in the selfie.
Her assistant Darnell Appling, who Zendaya tagged in the final snap, also addressed the incident on his own social media account.
Alongside a photo of him rolling his eyes, Darnell wrote: ‘Never a dull moment with @zendaya, no pun intended.

‘Dear god, help me keep this little heffa safe cos she clumsy as hell.’
Besides her boo-boo on her finger, the Spider-Man actress has had a pretty great week after she became the youngest performer to ever receive double nominations for lead acting awards at the Emmys, as well as being the youngest woman ever to receive a producing nomination, according to report from Variety.
She also previously became the youngest actress to win the Emmy for lead actress in a drama series in 2020 at the age of 24 for her role as Rue Bennett in Euphoria.
The win also made her the second Black woman to ever get the award, following Viola Davis’s 2015 honour for How to Get Away With Murder.
