Bow Wow is still hyping up the idea of swapping hip hop for wrestling as he chases a career in the ring.

The Let Me Hold You rapper has made no secret of his desire to work for the likes of WWE and AEW as an actual wrestler, and while he admitted other commitments have got in the way, he’s pondering a reality show focused on his ‘journey’.

He tweeted: ‘I got so much s**t going on i cant even find the time. Its like once im done w one thing boom! Im on the next gig! But im going to have a show following my journey to the wwe or professional wrestling period! (sic)’

Bow Wow is certainly confident, and he isn’t ruling out any options as long as he can ‘push the limits’ as an entertainer.

Asked if he’s trying to make it to WWE, he responded on Twitter: ‘Any professional wrestling company! Bro im a entertainer. I want to push the limits bro. My unc snoop has done so much and im tarting to enter that field here theres nothing i cant do. I wanna do that next. (sic)’

He later added in response to another fan: ‘Either one. WWE or AEW’.

Bow Wow was set to train with Rikishi (Picture: WWE)

Bow Wow previously revealed he was going to train with wrestling legend Rikishi, and the former champ insisted he wouldn’t be giving the crossover star any preferential treatment.

‘I’m going to train him like I train all my students. We know his celebrity status, but in order for him to really understand the industry correctly, we got to put that all aside,’ he told Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast.

‘He’s got to understand what it is when he gets in the ring how to protect himself, how to be a storyteller and all that theatrical movement.’

Celebrities and wrestling isn’t anything new, with the likes of Ronda Rousey and Tyson Fury amongst the most high profile names to actually step in the ring for a match in recent years.

Even Kevin Federline, former US President Donald Trump and actor Freddie Prinze Jr. all have their own history with the business to varying degrees, and Matthew McConaughey is a lifelong fan with in-ring ambitions of his own.

Most recently, the likes of Bad Bunny and Logan Paul have stepped into a WWE ring, with the latter even putting pen to paper on a multi-match, multi-year deal with the company.
