What do you do the day your anticipated new album drops? If you’re Lizzo, you crash a Peloton class.

Wanting to feel Good as Hell as she enjoys the promo run for her new album, Special, the Grammy-winning singer made an impromptu visit to Peloton’s New York studio for a live class for a Lizzo-themed ride.

Lizzo joined a lucky group of lucky riders who joined in the indoor-exercise class led by instructors Robin Arzón and Jess Sims on Friday.

Entering the studio to the tune of her song Good as Hell (of course) amid plenty of cheering, attendees were thrilled to have the star in the class.

During the 30-minute two-for-one ride, Lizzo sang along to new and old hits, and her Big Grrrls backup singers even joined in on the fun to nail some choreography, clad in all-pink Yitty activewear.

And because you can join Peloton’s class remotely, once word got out that the singer was there, so many people tried to join the live-remote class that it crashed the entire Peloton platform for several hours.

‘Sorry baby, we broke the internet!’ instructor Arzón joked in a video with Sims and Lizzo afterward.

The 34-year-old launched her own shapewear line with Fabletics in May, to ensure every shape and size was catered to and feeling great when it came to workout gear. The line was ‘a dream five years in the making’, she said.

The line ‘for every damn body’, comes in sizes ranging from 6X to XS.

‘This is a love letter to my big grrrls,’ Lizzo wrote on Instagram, ‘and a welcome letter to Every Body. This is *not* an invitation to change who you are… this is an opportunity to BE who you are on your terms.

‘I don’t know about y’all – but I’m sick of people telling me how I’m supposed to look and feel about my body. I’m tired of discomfort being synonymous with sexy.’

‘If it’s uncomfortable TAKE IT OFF. And if it makes you feel good PUT IT ON. @YITTY isn’t just shapewear, it’s your chance to reclaim your body and redefine your beauty standard. I love y’all,’ she said.

The collections  Major Label, Nearly Naked and Mesh Me, feature bras, leggings, waspies, tops, bodysuits, hoodies in an array of colours from neutrals to neons.
