A 90 Day Fiance star has revealed the pain and scars she endured after undergoing repeated surgeries to correct a botched tummy tuck.

The popular series, which first aired in 2014, is currently in the middle of its ninth season, and sees couples hurriedly arranging weddings to beat visa expirations.

Larissa Dos Santos Lima, who appeared in season six of the American reality series, has shared some of her most revealing posts to date after showing her injuries to fans on Instagram.

The 35-year-old appeared on the series alongside fiancé Colt Johnson, and has since gained a significant following on social media.

She took to Instagram to let her followers know that she was recovering from a surgery which left her without a belly button.

‘I would like to take the first step in slowly opening up about a plastic surgery procedure I received that is botched’, she captioned the post.

She continued: ‘Like so many other people in this situation, I’ve been scared and embarrassed to speak out.’

She revealed that the botched surgery happened over a year ago, but had waited until now to show fans what she had been going through.

‘I did not want to speak of this before, but I’m tired of being silent in my sadness with no where to go to fix the problem.’

Further posts showed that Larissa had to undergo three surgeries to create a new belly button after her original one was ‘removed & disposed’ without her consent.

However, the problems didn’t stop there.

‘Unfortunately, it was never fixed. My friend… tried many times [to] improve the appearance through treatments, like fibroblast… My belly button isn’t possible to be made,’ she revealed.

The reality star appears to be on the mend and has continued to post regularly to her Instagram feed ever since.

Larissa made headlines when she married fiancé Colt back in 2018. However, Colt filed for divorce in January 2019 and the couple separated soon after.
