Ric Flair has claimed he’ll be facing a WWE Raw superstar in his final ever match.

The Nature Boy, 73, will step in the ring one more time as part of the Flair’s Last Match event – which is being put on under the Jim Crockett Promotions banner as part of Scarrcast weekend – in Nashville, Tennessee on July 31.

His opponent has remained a mystery for weeks, but tonight the WWE Hall of Famer will finally reveal the identity of the man he’ll be facing in his curtain call.

Prompting plenty of speculation from fans, he teased: ‘On July 31, I’m Coming After One Of Your Own. #WWERaw And Tonight At 6:05, The Entire World Will Find Out. #RicFlairsLastMatch (sic)’

The announcement is set to be made at 11:05pm for those of us in the UK, and the hint of the wrestler having a connection to the red brand has certainly got people talking.

Some fans have suggested Flair’s fellow Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett – who will appear at SummerSlam one night earlier as the special guest referee for the Street Profits’ battle with The Usos – as a potential opponent given his Nashville ties.

Others are wondering if a current WWE superstar would be allowed to appear, and some people think the #WWERaw hashtag could be a sign of an impending shock return for the 16-time world champion.

While we’ve got a few hours to wait to find out Flair’s opponent, the rest of the show has been taking shape recently, with Josh Alexander set to defend his IMPACT Wrestling World Championship against MLW’s Jacob Fatu.

IMPACT Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will put her gold on the line against Deonna Purrazzo and Rachael Ellering, while The Wolves are facing off with Motor City Machine Guns in a dream tag team bout.

Elsewhere, Killer Kross – FKA Karrion Kross before his WWE release – is facing Davey Boy Smith Jr., Clark Conners will face Ren Narita, and AAA will be represented in a Fatal 4 Way featuring Rey Fenix, Laredo Kid, Taurus and Bandino.

Also on the card is a tag bout pitting Marshall and Ross Von Erich against Jay and Mark Briscoe, and another seeing Ricky and Kerry Morton battling Brock Anderson and Brian Pillman Jr.

In a few hours, we’ll find out our main event…

Flair’s Last Match will air on Fite TV on July 31.
