WWE legend Ric Flair will team with his son-in-law Andrade El Idol to take on Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in his last match later this month.

The Nature Boy has finally confirmed his opponent for what is said to be his retirement bout at the Jim Crockett Promotions event over Starrcast on July 31 in Nashville, Tennessee.

In the second episode of The Last Match, he said: ‘This is about as real as it f**king gets. Lethal and Jarrett – we’ll be ready. This is f**king family. This is real. And he’s a bad motherf**ker!’

Hall of Famer Flair had kept the identity of his opponents – and tag team partner – under wraps for a long time, but made the announcement less than an hour before Raw went on the air.

Prompting plenty of speculation from fans, he had teased earlier in the day: ‘On July 31, I’m Coming After One Of Your Own. #WWERaw And Tonight At 6:05, The Entire World Will Find Out. #RicFlairsLastMatch (sic)’

Meanwhile, it’s been reported by Dave Meltzer that Flair is suffering from a foot injury heading into the clash, but he’s expected to recovery in time to perform.

The rest of the show has also been taking shape recently, with Josh Alexander set to defend his IMPACT Wrestling World Championship against MLW’s Jacob Fatu.

IMPACT Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will put her gold on the line against Deonna Purrazzo and Rachael Ellering, while The Wolves are facing off with Motor City Machine Guns in a dream tag team bout.

Elsewhere, Killer Kross – FKA Karrion Kross before his WWE release – is facing Davey Boy Smith Jr., Clark Conners will face Ren Narita, and AAA will be represented in a Fatal 4 Way featuring Rey Fenix, Laredo Kid, Taurus and Bandino.

Also on the card is a tag bout pitting Marshall and Ross Von Erich against Jay and Mark Briscoe, and another seeing Ricky and Kerry Morton battling Brock Anderson and Brian Pillman Jr.

Flair has made no secret of his desire to get back in the ring, and last year he insisted he could ‘absolutely’ lace up his boots again, but claimed WWE wouldn’t let that happen.

‘That talk hasn’t happened, but could I do it? Absolutely,’ he said on his Wooo Nation Uncensored podcast at the time. ‘I’m in better shape now than I was when Sting and I wrestled the last match on Nitro [in 2001]. WWE won’t let me do anything, even though I’m released.’

Flair’s Last Match airs July 31 at midnight on Fite TV.
