WWE continues to tease something big with another mystery vignette on Raw last night with fans expecting Edge to have something to do with it.
The Rated R Superstar has been off screen for weeks now after his Judgment Day proteges Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest betrayed him and welcomed Finn Balor into the ranks, but a series of cryptic videos could be pointing to a return.
Another of the ominous promos aired during Monday night’s show, with blink-and-you-miss-it references to some more significant names.
As well as Rey Mysterio’s mask and a photo of Seth Rollins, fans also spotted The Undertaker’s signature urn in the video, while there were flashes of the Randy Orton RKO t-shirt and Mick Foley’s red flannel shirt which had been seen in the second video.
In another twist, the vignette featured the mystery figure writing a sinister warning in blood, teasing: ‘I am coming to’, with the full sentence – and its wider meaning – unclear.
While the references to Rey, Seth and Undertaker all fit with the first two videos – the three of them have their own storied history with Edge – the writing adds another wrinkle.

It seems certain Edge is involved, but the style of the message – and the production of the overall packages – still seem reminiscent of Bray Wyatt, with the blood red writing in particular harking back to The Fiend.
Going back to Edge, the second video also featured a nod to John Cena, while the first vignette featured what appeared to be Eddie Guerrero’s Latino Heat license plate, Kurt Angle’s Olympic Gold Medal, Bubba Ray Dudley’s signature broken glasses and Jeff Hardy’s sleeves.
One theory still doing the rounds on Twitter is that Edge and Wyatt could be working together, with the former Fiend – who was shockingly released by WWE last summer – helping Edge in his battle against Judgment Day.
One person who would be happy to see Bray back in the fold is Alexa Bliss, who worked a lot with him on her Dark Alexa character.
She exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘Before he left, he just said, “Keep it alive, keep it going”, so I took that to heart and tried to keep it alive and going. If he ever did return, a hundred percent I’d want to work with him.’
WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
