Love Island’s Deji Adeniyi makes a beeline for ‘wifey material’ Danica Taylor – and fans are praying they’ll win the whole show-Sabrina Barr-Entertainment – Metro

Love Island star Deji Adeniyi is on the prowl… and he’s set his sights on Danica Taylor following his return from Casa Amor.

While the potential pairing might have come out the blue, many fans are absolutely here for it… with some believing they could win the whole show if they couple up.

When Deji first joined the programme, he struck up a connection with Indiyah Polack, returning to the main villa with her… much to Dami Hope’s undeniable annoyance.

While Indiyah initially wanted to keep getting to know Deji and Dami, her loyalties ended up remaining with Dami, leaving Deji on his own.

At the moment, Danica is coupled up with Billy Brown and the pair appear to be getting on swimmingly – but that could change now that Deji has revealed to Danica how he really feels about her.

During last night’s episode, the duo went to the terrace for an intimate chat, where Deji, 25, admitted to Danica, 21, that he feels that ‘people don’t give you their 100% that you deserve’.

‘You give 100% – they give you f**king 10,’ he said candidly, as she replied: ‘Yeah, literally.’

Deji then shared his true intentions, telling Danica: ‘I want to put that 100% into you. Do you know what I’m saying? What are you thinking?’

Danica confessed that the thought of a potential romance with Deji had ‘crossed her mind’, but she is currently happy continuing her journey on the ‘Billy train’.

‘There are things about Billy I do actually like, and to be honest until it gets to a point where I’ve had enough and gone, “You’re not giving me enough,” or he goes, “This isn’t what I want,” then I kind of will go with what I’ve sort of… the cards have been dealt,’ the dancer said.

Deji responded: ‘You are wifey material. And you’ve been giving wifey energy to people who have been kind of shunning it to the side.’

The accounts management worker told Danica that he’s willing to give her ‘1,000%’, but he doesn’t want to ‘be in a situation where it’s a gravitational battle’, stating: ‘I don’t want you to be ifs, buts or maybe, I want you to be 100% alright cool.’

Following their conversation, Danica spoke in the Beach Hut about the ‘good friendship’ she and Deji have, praising him for being a ‘grafter’.

Later on in the episode, Danica and Billy revealed to the girls and boys respectively that things had become heated between them in bed, as the ‘salon was open’.

Rather than find the revelation off-putting, Deji took Danica for another chat to share that he wasn’t going to give up, putting all his eggs in her basket.

Danica’s had a rollercoaster journey on Love Island, suffering rejections from Luca Bish, Davide Sanclimenti, Jay Younger and Josh Samuel.

Several fans are already shipping Deji and Danica, with one person tweeting: ‘I’m liking the way Deji is gassing Danica up because no boy has done that yet.’

‘Okay Danica & Deji … Girl date the man who’s giving you the ENERGY!’ someone else wrote, while another commented: ‘Deji talking straight facts with Danica rn and I love to see it 😌 give her the 100% yes.’

Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
