WWE Raw results, grades: Judgment Day destroy Rey Mysterio after Dominik tries to join group-Alistair McGeorge-Entertainment – Metro
An eventful night!

WWE legend Rey Mysterio was decimated by The Judgment Day group on Raw as his son Dominik was forced to watch.
The iconic masked luchador will celebrate 20 years since his WWE debut at Madison Square Garden next Monday, and last night’s show suggested it won’t be an easy night for him or his son.
Rey found himself in a match against Damian Priest this week, with the Archer of Infamy and Finn Balor speaking before the bout and urging Dominik to join their sinister faction to step out of his father’s shadow.
The bout itself was as fun as you’d expect, with the Master of the 619 repeatedly turning back the clock with seamless – and effortless – work in the ring.
In the end, Priest picked up the win with the Razor’s Edge, but the night wasn’t over for the Mysterios, as Judgment Day went on the attack after the bell, urging Dominik to join them or they’d smash his dad’s head between two steel chairs.
Dom finally agreed to try and save his father, but Priest insisting it doesn’t really work like that, and delivered the crushing blow anyway, attacking Rey and his boy.
With Rey’s career celebration next week, it’ll fascinating to see where this goes and how Judgment Day are involved, particularly with rumours of an impending Edge return.
Once again, a mystery vignette aired on Raw – this time featuring references to Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, The Undertaker and Mysterio himself – with all signs pointing to the Rated R Superstar, with just enough of a nod to Bray Wyatt to create some doubt.
The Miz accepts Logan Paul’s SummerSlam challenge, Dolph Ziggler attacks Theory and Becky Lynch will challenge Bianca Belair
In the main event segment of the night, Logan Paul joined The Miz to try and get a response to his SummerSlam challenge, with the A-Lister claiming his WrestleMania betrayal was simply meant to be a lesson about the world of WWE.
The controversial YouTuber wasn’t having it though, with the former tag team partners trading verbal jabs until Logan brought up Miz’s tiny balls, which finally convinced him to accept.
With the match set, Miz went on the attack but Logan got the upper hand, only for Ciampa to lay him out from behind – and the social media star escaped before taking too much damage.

The show started with WWE global ambassador Titus O’Neil coming out in front of a hometown Tampa crowd to hail the company as a ‘safe haven’ free from politics, religion and other divisive issues, although the timing of his promo is a little suspect.
Becky Lynch came out to stake her claim for the Raw Women’s Title and revealed at SummerSlam she would face the winner of Bianca Belair and Carmella’s match.
The two women joined her as they exchanged strong words, leading to a brawl before the EST of WWE successfully defend her title in another entertaining match against a familiar foe.

Kevin Owens returned for an edition of The KO Show as he tried to get himself aligned with Riddle – who wasn’t having any of it – before Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins jumped his SummerSlam opponent.
Later, the Visionary found himself in a match with Ezekiel in a fantastic back and forth battle as Elias’ younger brother was given the opportunity to showcase his skills.
In the end, Rollins won – as he should – but Zeke deserves a lot of credit for his in-ring performances over the past few months.

Omos took on Angelo Dawkins in an all-too-brief match which ended by disqualification after MVP tripped up the Street Profits man, leading to Adam Pearce making a tag match with MVP and Montez Ford joining the fray.
The tag match was decent but again ended in a DQ when The Usos attacked Angelo and Montez, leading to a beatdown alongside Omos.
Theory again promised to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase at SummerSlam, only to be interrupted by AJ Styles, leading to a match between the two with Dolph Ziggler watching from ringside.
This was a brilliant match between two great talents, and both came out if this looking relatively strong as Theory lost via count out when Ziggler hit him with a superkick.
In a misfire for an otherwise solid show, the 24/7 Title nonsense overshadowed a six-woman tag pitting Asuka, Dana Brooke and Alexa Bliss against Doudrop, Tamina and Nikki A.S.H.
Akira Tozawa, Nikki, Bliss, Doudrop and Tamina all won the title in quick succession before Brooke won it back to make the whole thing pointless.
Asuka won the six-man tag (which had some good moments, as if it matters either side of the silliness) with an armbar, making Nikki tap out.
WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
