As the UK struggled to cope in record-breaking temperatures on the hottest day of the year, the stars of The Gray Man turned out for their film premiere in London.

Marvel’Chris Evans joined his Knives Out co-star Ana de ArmasBridgerton’s Regé-Jean Page and Ryan Gosling for the red carpet event at the BFI Southbank for their new Netflix thriller.

The action-packed movie, directed by the Avengers Infinity War and Endgame’s the Russo Brothers, sees a CIA operative (Gosling) uncover dark agency secrets. A bounty is then put on his head and a psychopathic former colleague (Evans) sets out on a global manhunt for him.

To celebrate its release, despite the scorching temps of over 40 degrees, the A-Listers opted for smart, casual attire for photos in the capital.

And not one bead of sweat was witnessed.

Captain America star Evans wore a cream-coloured button-up polo with pink stripes, which he paired with black trousers and smart shoes.

Gosling and Page braved a full suit, with Notebook star Gosling sporting light pink trousers, a pale blue shirt and pastel blue blazer as Bridgerton star Page opted for a white T-shirt underneath a sleek geometric design navy suit.

De Armas dazzled in a metallic silver, sleeveless gown with a skirt that emulated chain mail, while the bodice was striped with sequins and cinched in at her waist with a black belt.

She wore minimal make-up and all the cast sported a dewy complexion in the high heat with Gosling still rocking his Ken-doll tan after filming the new Barbie movie

All the stars looked relaxed as they posed together for photos, while de Armas and Gosling embraced in a hug before sharing a private word together and a giggle.

After the glamorous event, the stars quickly changed into cooler clothing to grab a bite to eat in central.

Gosling swapped his suit for grey jeans, a white tee and black baseball cap as de Armas sported an all-black ensemble with high-waisted wide-leg trousers and a black long-sleeve T-shirt.

The London premiere comes days after Evans went viral on the press tour for admitting he’s ‘laser-focused’ on finding ‘someone to spend his life with.’

In an interview with Shondaland (the giant named after Shonda Rhimes that’s brought us Bridgerton and is the mind behind Grey’s Anatomy), the 41-year-old opened up about his love life.

When asked about his own laser-focus pursuit, like his character Lloyd’s focus on his assassination mission, he admitted: ‘Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with.’

He added: ‘I love what I do. It’s great; I pour all of myself into it. But in terms of — even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into.’

The Gray Man is available in select cinemas and lands on Netflix on July 22.
