Dumped Love Island star Summer Botwe is confident that Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope do actually have a ‘genuine’ connection, even though she was caught up in the middle of them.

After being eliminated from the ITV2 dating show along with Billy Brown on Wednesday night, the bombshell shared her view on the couple, who have endured a rollercoaster romance since Casa Amor.

For those who are struggling to keep up, Dami returned from Casa Amor with Summer on his arm and had entertained multiple three-way kisses with her and Chyna Mills while he was away.

Although Indiyah accidentally called Dami by Deji Adeniyi in Wednesday’s episode, Summer reckons they’re pretty strong.

‘Despite the situation, I do think Dami and Indiyah’s connection is very genuine and I am rooting for them to win the show,’ Summer said.

‘I don’t think other couples are as genuine as them, I am rooting for them all the way #Damiyah all the way.’

Speaking about her romance with Dami in Casa Amor, Summer admitted she definitely thought she had a chance with him.

‘I am sure everyone saw that me and Dami were quite close so it gave me an inkling as to maybe I do have a shot at getting to know him and progressing further’ she said.

‘When he made his choice to get back with Indiyah I was upset in the moment but I moved forward, took each day as it came and was positive about it.’

‘Coming into Casa I was headstrong and had tunnel vision on getting to know Dami just because he is my usual type on the outside,’ she added.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
