Dwayne Johnson delighted fans at Comic-Con by turning up in full costume to promote Black Adam – and he made time for a cheeky dig at pal Kevin Hart as well.
Knowing how to make an entrance, The Rock arrived in his superhero costume, surrounded by crackling electricity and swirling smoke, to discuss his upcoming DC blockbuster at the convention in San Diego.
The Hollywood star made an epic entrance onstage at the famous Hall H and warned fans that the superhero universe would ‘never be the same again’.
Blue sparks flew in the darkness as special lanyards given to attendees flashed blue ahead of the second panel of the day on the third day of the world famous convention.
‘Hall H you have been warned the DC universe will never be the same again,’ he declared.
Fans were treated to an extended look at the film with explosive footage showing The Rock deflecting bullets and smashing helicopters into each other.

‘I heard Black Adam was here, that was some cool s**t’, he joked as he returned to the stage alongside his fellow cast members Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell and director Jaume Collet-Serra.
During a Q&A, the Baywatch star took aim at comedian pal and fellow actor Kevin, when a young fan named Mason asked: ‘Mr Rock, when you got the job as Black Adam did Kevin Hart ever get jealous?’
‘Mason, that was a great question,’ the actor began.
‘The truth is yes, Kevin Hart gets jealous of everything.
‘And you know, I’m pretty good with height and you’re already taller than Kevin Hart,’ he added, drawing cheers and laughter from the crowd.
The pair are known for their light-hearted relationship on and off camera, having starred in multiple films together including Central Intelligence, Jumanji, and recent animated feature DC League Of Super-Pets.
The actor was then asked who would win in a fight between DC anti-hero Black Adam and Superman.
‘Depends on who’s playing Superman,’ he responded.
Also at the convention, The Rock told fans that fellow cast-member Pierce Brosnan sent his love, but was unable to attend the convention.

‘The journey has been an incredible one.
‘To be here to watch Black Adam levitate and throw lightning like he was handing out candy, it’s a dream come true.’

Co-star Jaume admitted that he was ‘shy’ and that the panel was his ‘worst nightmare’ as an introvert.
An official synopsis for Black Adam reads: ‘Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods – and imprisoned just as quickly – Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.’
The film is scheduled for a UK release of October 21.
