Taylor Swift fans seething after Jeopardy! contestants miss clue: ‘Shut the whole show down’-Meghna Amin-Entertainment – Metro

Taylor Swift fans were left seething after all three Jeopardy! contestants missed out on a clue about the singer during the game-show.
In the Title That Completes The Rhyme category the players are quizzed about their music knowledge, but they clearly weren’t well-versed in the Bad Blood singer’s repertoire.
Returning champion selected a $400 clue from the category, leaving host Ken Jennings to read aloud: ‘And I’m just like oh-oh oh-oh oh-oh oh-oh, you need to just stop, like can you just not, step on my gown?’
Matt and his two fellow players, Alfred and Alison, were left speechless with no answer to give, while Swifties at home were clearly screaming at their screens.
Ken definitely knew the answer, and was trying not to give it away, but the contestants were completely blank-faced.
As time was called, Ken answered: ‘This is You Need to Calm Down by Taylor Swift.’

Swifties at home were rattled over the scene, with one writing: ‘How could no one know the answer!?!’
Another penned: ‘Having a little power trip bc I knew the answer to a Jeopardy question was Taylor Swift & none of the contestants got it.’
A third wrote: ‘None of the jeopardy contestants got the Taylor Swift clue shut the whole show down.’
Despite not knowing the Taylor Swift answer, Matt still finished in first place in the episode, winning $26,644.
The game-show disaster comes after the American singer sending fans wild by making a surprise appearance at a Haim concert in London.
The American pop queen has been keeping a pretty low profile lately, and we can’t say we blame her for enjoying the downtime following the success of her lockdown albums and re-recordings of her existing catalogue.

But, in true T Swizzle style, she always pops up when you least expect it, and that’s exactly what fans were treated to on Thursday night when they wen to see what they thought was only a Haim gig in the capital.
Naturally, the crowd erupted into screams when the Blank Space hitmaker walked out to perform a killer mash-up of Haim hit Gasoline and Taylor’s country tune Love Story.

After their performance and before leaving the stage, the friends shared an adorable group hug, with Taylor beaming from ear to ear as she waved fans goodbye while making her exit.
