WWE confirms Triple H is ‘fully in charge of creative’ after father-in-law Vince McMahon’s shock retirement-Alistair McGeorge-Entertainment – Metro

WWE has announced Triple H is now in charge of the company’s creative direction following the retirement of Vince McMahon.

The longtime chairman and CEO of the company shocked the wrestling world by stepping down on Friday amid an ongoing investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct.

On Monday, WWE officially unveiled his daughter Stephanie McMahon as chairwoman and co-CEO alongside the company’s president Nick Khan.

In a press release, they added: ‘WWE executive Paul Levesque will assume all responsibilities related to WWE’s creative, in addition to his regular duties.’

Making a joint statement, McMahon and Khan said: ‘We are grateful for the opportunity to lead WWE together with our unmatched management team.

‘We recognize this is a tremendous opportunity and responsibility, and we look forward to serving the WWE Universe.’
