Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have just tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony at their Essex home, which they dubbed ‘Pickle Cottage’.
Giving fans a glimpse into the big day, Stacey showed off the gorgeous set-up, which included a wooden archway showered in flower arrangements and candles, with white chairs positioned on either side suggesting it was the aisle Stacey, 32, and Joe, 40, walked down before saying their vows beside a bench.
Stacey previously explained how she and Joe were able to marry at their private property, telling one fan during a Q&A: ‘As this is our private family home and we need it to remain that way, we couldn’t go for that option.
‘So we are having a relaxed private blessing in front of our closest friends & family and a ceremony of our love to each other and we will register our marriage legally after.’
The pair moved into their dream home in March 2021, with Stacey describing it as their ‘forever home’.
And it’s definitely beautiful. Situated in Essex, the property reportedly cost £1.2million and has five acres of land, as well as a pool and hot tub.
It was gorgeous to begin with, but Stacey’s been putting mountains of work into doing up the place to make it perfect for her and Joe and their kids – Joe’s son Harry, Stacey’s sons Zachary and Leighton, and little Rex and Rose, who Joe and Stacey share.
The garden and outside areas are absolutely stunning, with Stacey sharing various snaps and videos of the kids enjoying them.
It includes a manicured lawn, and Stacey and her family can even enjoy views of the sunset from Pickle Cottage, as well as a pool which was perfect for the heatwave.
Also outside is their iconic door, which Stacey makes sure to do up for every occasion – most recently for her and Joe’s wedding.
One of Stacey’s projects was her conservatory, which she turned into a gorgeous purple haven.
Stacey had painted the conservatory light purple and showed off her unique touches, including small sprigs of fresh lavender in tiny vases mounted to the wall as well as a fake plant trailing from a shelf.
While the pretty pastel look wasn’t to everyone’s taste, she wasted no time in defending her decision, simply telling her fans: ‘Do what makes you happy’.
Too right!
Also undergoing a makeover was the bathroom, which Stacey dubbed her ‘mermaid bathroom’.
Featuring shimmery tiles and shell-shaped sinks, it’s absolutely stunning.

She said of the makeover: ‘Mermaid Bathroom 🐚 done ✔️ Here she is… finally! This is where you will find me from now on 😂 I think this may be my favourite room at pickle cottage so far 🥲 I painted this room black and white when we moved in because we knew it would be a year or so before we could do it properly but it was worth the wait! 😭☺️ Happy Saturday everyone… 🖤’.
One incredible addition to Pickle Cottage was Joe’s Den, which was a gift for his 40th birthday,
Stacey decked out the room with a pool table, comfy sofa, and plenty of bits to keep him busy.
Writing on Instagram, she explained: ‘Happy 40th Birthday🎂 DADDY 🥳 We hope you had the best birthday ever and we can’t wait to make memories with you forever in your Den… You’re always doing everything you can to make us happy so making your man cave was just the best project ever. You mean everything to us. You’re the best dad, best friend & fiancé we could ever wish for. 🖤 To the moon and back Joe, 🖤 Always 🖤 Now let’s get married 😭.’
The mum-of-four also seems to absolutely love doing up her kids’ rooms, and Rex was no exception!
The three-year-old looked delighted with his panda-themed room, featuring animals on the walls, and black and white frames and wallpaper.
His room even features a black and grey fireplace, making it one of the most swish rooms we’ve seen for a three-year-old.
Stacey wrote in May last year: ‘🐼 Rex’s Room 🐼 – 𝐷𝑜𝑛𝑒 ✔️ FINALLY… I’m so proud of this little room. I hope you make so many memories and happy thoughts in here pickle.
‘You and all of your favourite pandas 🐼🥺 Rex and me have worked so hard in here to try and make him a special space and we are so so proud of it! It’s the first bedroom we could complete because it didn’t need any building, electrics or wardrobes fitted so we just painted and jazzed up what was in there already…
‘I love it so so much and I can not wait to watch you grow up in here little one, just not too quickly please 🥺.’
Talking of not growing up too quickly, Stacey also had a ball decorating baby Rose’s room, which was turned into a pink paradise.
It features pink furniture and an absolutely gorgeous floral wall and gold detailing.
‘To my Darling daughter, I’ve loved every single second of making this special place for you,’ Stacey said at the time.
‘My whole heart, and soul is in this room and I would do it all again if I could. I can not wait to bring you home here and show you everything.
‘I can not wait to hold you, cuddle you, sing to you, feed you and put you to bed in here. I’m so proud of everything in here and it’s been the best feeling making it and I’ll miss being covered in pink paint 😂 We can not wait to see you little one. To the moon and stars and back again princess, we love you. 💕.’
With Stacey and Joe starting the new chapter in their life, we’re sure Pickle Cottage is the perfect place for it!
