Mark Wright is understandably confused after hearing what Luca Bish had to say about him on last night’s Love Island.
During Monday’s episode of the ITV2 competition, Luca was looking at his reflection while in the kitchen with Adam Collard and Paige Thorne when he said: ‘Oi Adam, would you say Mark Wright’s really good looking?’
‘Er, I think he’s pretty good looking, yeah,’ Adam said, to which Luca replied: ‘I don’t think he’s that all that.’
After Adam admitted that he thought Mark was ‘punching’ with his wife Michelle Keegan – meaning that he believes Michelle is better-looking than her spouse – the most pointless conversation of this year’s series ensued, with Luca arguing with Paige after being told by her that he was ‘punching’ with his partner Gemma Owen.
One person who also had his say on the issue at hand was former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark, who woke up last night (while on morning-time in Australia) to discover what Luca had to say about him.
Sharing a topless selfie of himself in bed, Mark tweeted: ‘8:30am in Sydney…. minding my own business (literally sleeping) Waking up like…. What did I do? #luca.’
Honestly Mark – we couldn’t tell you!
Several Love Island fans commented underneath Mark’s post to agree that they felt Luca’s comment had come out of the blue.

‘Really came for you out of nowhere,’ one person said, while another wrote: ‘I actually ‘gasped’ out loud!! How dare he #luca …just jealous Mark!’
Someone else told Mark that he’d ‘made it’ by the name-drop on Love Island.
The mention of Mark’s name and the assessment of his appearance wasn’t the only controversial element of the ‘punching’ conversation to get peoples’ tongues wagging.
Later on, after Paige confessed that she thought she was ‘punching’ with Adam, but didn’t mind as she felt she had a ‘better personality’.
Adam then piped up to say that he thought Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was ‘punching’ with her partner, Davide Sanclimenti.
Fans were furious with Adam for suggesting that Ekin-Su isn’t as good looking as Davide (Picture: Rex/ITV)
Viewers were left enraged by Adam’s statement, with one writing furiously: ‘Adam literally named Ekin-Su as one of the girls he fancied the most before going in the villa. Don’t be a hater as she didn’t want you.’
‘Very weird of Adam to talk about Ekin-Su and saying she’s punching, she’s clearly stunning and wasn’t even a part of that conversation,’ another said.
Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
