Georgia Steel has claimed she was told to wear a thong bikini on Love Island.
The reality star appeared on the show in 2018, and often wore tiny, revealing bikinis.
Now Georgia has claimed producers told her to wear the flimsy swimsuits, adding they ‘liked’ it.
In a new Facebook Live interview with the Daily Star, the Ex On The Beach icon was asked if she ever got in trouble for what she wore on the ITV dating show.
To which a laughing Georgia replied: ‘Oh no, they liked it when I wore a thong bikini.’
Adding that she ‘never got told off’ for her clothes, the 24-year-old said the only time she had been asked to change was when a patterned dress she wore made the camera go ‘funny’.

She even did an impression of the producers, recalling they would tell her: ‘Georgia, get that thong bikini on, girl!’
‘They wanted me to wear it,’ she said.
Georgia’s revelation comes after fellow former Love Island contestants, twins Jess and Eve Gale, told the outlet they had been banned by ITV producers from wearing racy thong bikinis.

However, Georgia added that ‘knowing the twins,’ their planned thong bikinis were probably ‘very small.’
Following her stint on the ITV2 series, the influencer has made name for herself, with over 1.6 million Instagram followers.
However it’s not all been plain sailing, as she knows first-hand how cruel some people online can be.

The icon, who has dyslexia, recently opened up about being bullied online for speling mistakes in her captions, saying people would call her ‘stupid.’
‘Obviously, I get a lot of online trolls, that’s part of the job,’ she told the Daily Mail.
‘And a lot of people will say, “Oh you spelt that wrong? Or how stupid can you be.”‘

Despite the harmful comments, the former Celebs Go Dating star said she doesn’t view her dyslexia as ‘damaging’ or ‘upsetting’ and wants to encourage those going through something similar.
The TV personality was coupled up with Josh Denzel before leaving the Love Island villa with her now ex-boyfriend Sam Bird.
