Tasha Ghouri’s dad says Love Island’s Andrew Le Page ‘looking like son-in-law material’ after heartfelt speech on her ‘superpower’-Charlotte Manning-Entertainment – Metro

Tasha Ghouri’s dad Tarek has praised Andrew Le Page after the Love Island contestant spoke about her cochlear implant on-screen.

Tasha joined Love Island as part of the OG line-up for this series and became the first-ever Deaf contestant to feature.

The dancer has been educating her fellow islanders – and the nation – about her Deafness and has been supported by viewers for her openness on screen.

Now, as the final draws ever closer, Tasha’s very supportive dad has thanked her boyfriend Andrew for his comments on-screen during last night’s baby challenge episode.

Tasha and Andrew were among the five remaining couples given the responsibility of having to look after one of the baby dolls and took it completely in their stride.

At one point when he was alone with ‘baby Leo’ he opened up to the doll about Tasha’s ‘superpower’ in very lovely scenes.

Now, Tasha’s father Tarek, who’s been one of the most vocal family members of this year’s islanders, has shared his approval of Andrew after the moment aired on Wednesday.  

‘Any man can be a father. But Andrew and Davide are DADDIES 😌 #LoveIsland,’ one fan of the pair commented, which prompted a very positive response from Tarek.

The dancer’s father penned: ‘Andrew is looking more and more like son-in-law material 💥.’

He went on to recall what Andrew said on-screen last night, adding: ‘”The fire pit is very special… your mum told me about her superpower, her superpower being that she has an implant that makes her able to hear.

‘”She’s very, very special and very, very brave and with this implant”.’

Fans on Reddit also reacted to the ‘really cute’ response from Tarek but couldn’t help but laugh over its intention as a ‘thirsty’ post from a fan.

One user shared: ‘This is too cute. Also, her mum’s Instagram is just a bunch of screenshots of her voting for Andrew and Tasha’

‘Listen give Tasha’s dad the 50k. Man had to sit through so much s**t about his precious daughter but has been such a wholesome sweetheart throughout it all,’ another wrote.

A fan added: ‘I honestly hope Tandrew or Ekinde come 1st & 2nd in whatever order.’

A viewer weighed in: ‘Tasha’s dad’s comment is so heartwarming to see but it does make me laugh that he’s responding to a thirsty post about Andrew.’
