WWE enters a new era tonight with SummerSlam in Nashville – and it’s a huge show for a number of reasons.

It will mark the first premium live event of the Triple H age after the legendary star took full creative control of the company following the retirement of Vince McMahon, and fans will be eager to see what he has planned.

The card itself is stacked, with five championship clashes – including a brutal Last Man Standing match – and three bitter grudge bouts.

Typically, WWE delivers with these major monthly shows, and with Triple H at the helm, it feels like a perfect night to get everybody on side and show how bright the future can be.

As ever, we’ve put together our regular guide with all the matches, streaming details and more.

Here’s everything you need to know about the show…

When is WWE SummerSlam 2022?

What can you expect from WWE SummerSlam? Predictions for the show

SummerSlam is harder to predict that most shows as we’re just a week removed from an industry changing few of days when Vince McMahon retirement amid the board of director’s ongoing investigation into allegations of misconduct, with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan now ruling the roost.

It means tonight is the first real chance to see how much things have changed and what The Game has planned for the coming months.

There have already been big changes, with Seth Freakin’ Rollins no longer facing Riddle, with reports that match will instead take place in Cardiff, Wales at Clash At The Castle on September 3 – which leaves the Visionary without an opponent.

In terms of the confirmed matches, look for Roman Reigns to once again beat Brock Lesnar in a hard hitting match to book a fight with Drew McIntyre in Cardiff, while Bianca Belair should complete her redemption arc against Becky Lynch.

Liv Morgan shouldn’t lose her title at the first hurdle, and while you’d expect Logan Paul to pick up a win in his first ever singles match – in a bout that should prove to fans how much he has to offer – there’s a chance Ciampa could get involved to cost him.

Jeff Jarrett’s involvement could prove decisive in the tag ranks and this feels like Street Profits’ time before Montez Ford gets a chance to shine solo, while Theory could continue a downward spiral by losing to Bobby Lashley.

Judgment Day should beat Los Mysterios after losing to them on Raw, and it could finally be where Dominik turns on his dad Rey – maybe leading to Edge (and possibly Bray Wyatt) returning to even the odds.

Finally, Pat McAfee and Happy Corbin could be the sleeper of the match, with Corbin more than capable of helping McAfee to a fun heavyweight scrap.
