Love Island spoilers show Paige Thorne’s mum hesitant over Adam Collard as she can’t hold back ‘savage comments’-Meghna Amin-Entertainment – Metro

The episode we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived – that’s right, it’s time for the Love Island contestants to Meet The Parents.

Watching their sons and daughters crack on with each other has already left Michael Owen speechless, and Indiyah Polack’s family very wary of Dami Hope.

But tonight, Paige Thorne’s mum is just as hesitant over returning bombshell Adam Collard – who made quite the name for himself during his first stint on Love Island in 2018.

The Welsh paramedic has been getting to know Adam since Jacques O’Neill tearfully left the villa, and each day they’ve been getting stronger, with their romantic final date even gaining the title of Paige’s ‘best date ever.’

But her mum, on the other hand, isn’t so sure.

In tonight’s episode, Paige asks her mum and dad: ‘So what are you thinking of Adam?’ to which her mum is simply speechless, clearly unsure of what to say.

‘Ummmm’ she lets out after a few very awkward seconds, before Paige is heard in the Beach Hut saying: ‘My mum and her savage comments, I knew she would be… I was just like “Oh for God’s sake!”‘

Meanwhile, Adam’s family are much more positive over ‘Adam 2.0’, with his friend saying: ‘You do come across much more mature this time, a lot more settled and confident with Paige and everything. You’s are really well suited, like.’

Elsewhere, Luca Bish’s mum is gushing over Gemma Owen, praising her ‘values’ while Dami is getting a very stern talking-to from Indiyah’s family.

Indiyah’s mum Dee says: ‘The behaviour, and I’m sure Shak [Indiyah’s sister] will tell Dami, he’s not been cleared yet. He’s not cleared in my eyes yet either.’
