WWE SummerSlam results, grades: Brock Lesnar tips entire ring with tractor in utterly wild match-Alistair McGeorge-Entertainment – Metro
The Triple H era got off to a fantastic start.

Brock Lesnar lifted an entire WWE ring with a tractor during his SummerSlam main event against Roman Reigns.
The Beast Incarnate left a lasting memory with one of the wildest moments fans have ever seen as he used a tractor – which he’d brought down for his entrance – to almost flip the squared circle.
It took championship shots, The Usos, an attempted cash in from Theory, and burying Lesnar under parts of the announce table, steel steps and more to finally put Brock down for the count.
The challenger made a fantastic entrance as he came down the ramp on the tractor before climbing into the digger at the front, announcing himself and then leaping out onto the Tribal Chief.
It meant the pair – just like the opener between Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch – started at a great pace, this time with the two heavyweights brawling through the crowd in the early stages of the match.
The Head of the Table looked to be in trouble as Lesnar brought out a table once they made it back to ringside, but Roman would regain the advantage and send his opponent through successive tables with a Samoan Drop and Rock Bottom.
This was one of the stronger bouts these two have had, providing some good, brutal action befitting the stipulation, and some wonderful silliness with the tractor later in the match.
It was enough of a departure from their other work – especially their WrestleMania 38 battle – to justify the match happening again, and it was a worthy addition to the rivalry.
The drama was amped up in the final moments, with the fans buying into ever moment each man tried to lay down his opponent for the 10-count.
Bayley returns with Iyo Skye (Io Shirai) and Dakota Kai by her side, Edge makes comeback and more
Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch set a very high bar with the opening match of the night, which was a world away from last year’s 26 second shock.
Here, the two rivals battled as a breakneck pace until the EST of WWE pinned Lynch to hold onto the Raw Women’s Championship – leaving Big Time Becks distraught after the bell despite a sign of respect.
There was some drama to come though as the trio of Bayley, Dakota Kai and Io Shirai (now Iyo Skye) made their presence felt, but Big Times Becks stepped up by her rivals’ side to send them packing.

Up next, Logan Paul proved he’s got a real future in WWE as he beat The Miz and one over PLENTY of fans with a stunning debut leading to a huge win with his opponent’s own Skull Crushing Finale.
The A-Lister did well here, and the controversial YouTuber – who sent his former tag team partner through an announce table with a huge Frog Splash from the top rope – shone, even hitting a Phenomenal Forearm after AJ Styles helped out by fighting Ciampa through the crowd.
Bobby Lashley successfully defended the United States Title in a very entertaining showcase for the All Mighty, who really is riding a well earned wave of popularity with fans.
The heavyweight veteran dropped Mr. Money In The Bank from a gorilla press into the Hurt Lock leading to a submission victory.
Judgment Day and Los Mysterios delivered something special as the father/son duo picked up the win in a match which didn’t make much use of the No Disqualification stipulation until its closing moments.
Edge made a sensational comeback from the middle of a Brood style inferno looking rejuvenated as he emerged surrounded by flames to take out Finn Balor and Damian Priest.
Pat McAfee picked up a win over Happy Corbin in a match which promised plenty and delivered, and the SmackDown commentator – who had a couple of scary moments but recovered well – looked strong yet again.
The Usos and the Street Profits didn’t get as long to work with as their Money In The Bank classic last month, but they made the most of their time here with Jeff Jarrett fun in the role of special guest referee.
Jimmy and Jey got the win after some superkicks and the 1-D, keeping their run with the Unified Tag Team Titles rolling, and leaving Montez Ford and Angelo Ford’s next move unclear.
The crowd went wild as Riddle – ruled out due to a storyline injury – stormed the ring and immediately called out Seth Rollins despite their match being pulled from the show.
The Visionary obliged, breaking past WWE officials and coming to blows with the Original Bro before laying him out with a brutal Stomp in the middle of the ring.
Liv Morgan retained the SmackDown Women’s Title in brief and controversial fashion as she pinned Ronda Rousey – but the Baddest Woman In The Planet made her tap out seconds before the pin, leading to her snapping and attacking a referee after the bell.
