Over the past few months, we’ve seen explosive break-ups, shock walkouts, and surprising bombshells galore on series 8 of Love Island – but all good things must come to an end.

That’s right, it will soon be time to find out which couple will be walking away from the villa with not only newfound love, but a mouth-watering prize of £50k.

While some finalists look like their relationship may have a life beyond the villa, others have seen their relationship tested in the final week.

And Metro.co.uk will be covering all the twists and turns of the highly-anticipated finale right here.

What time does the Love Island 2022 final start?

The final kicks off tonight (August 1) and fans can watch all the action live on ITV2 from 9pm.

It will be an extra-long episode (how else will they fit in all the drama?), with the show scheduled to finish at 10.30pm.

Who is in the final?

The couples that remain and could win the 2022 series of Love Island are:

Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su CülcüloğluGemma Owen and Luca BishIndiyah Polack and Dami HopeTasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page

Who is currently favourite to win?

Going ahead into the final, it looks like Davide and Ekin-Su are the ones to beat this series, according to Ladbrokes.

The current odds stand at:

Davide and Ekin-Su – 1/9Luca and Gemma – 8/1Andrew and Tasha – 10/1Dami and Indiyah – 22/1

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: ‘Davide and Ekin-Su have headed the betting for some time now, and at this point it would undoubtedly go down as the biggest shock in Love Island history were the couple not to be crowned king and queen of the villa.’
