Love Island fans slam Gemma Owen and Luca Bish’s frosty reactions in Love Letters segment: ‘Why do they look mad?’-Charlotte Manning-Entertainment – Metro

Love Island fans noticed Gemma Owen and Luca Bish weren’t looking too pleased while watching their fellow islanders deliver heartfelt love letters during Monday night’s final.

Dressage rider Gemma, 19, and fishmonger Luca, 23, finished as runners-up in last night’s season finale, while Ekin Cülcüloğlu, 27, and Davide Sanclimenti, 27 took the crown. 

However, some avid viewers have spotted signs the pair weren’t happy with the way things were panning out at various points during last night’s episode.

While their fellow islanders were giving their various Love Letters speeches, they didn’t have quite the heartfelt reaction some of the others did. 

The camera panned to Luca and Gemma looking a bit fed up, leading one fan to ask: ‘What’s up with them #LoveIsland?

One wrote: ‘He’s still p****d off that Michael didn’t show up,’ with another adding: ‘Why do they look mad.’

Someone else weighed in: ‘Negative nancies, I loved them but I just can’t stand them anymore, since Casa…’

‘Not everyone clapping when they were speaking but these two are just there like,’ added a viewer.

It comes as some also pointed out that the pair seemed a bit frosty after Ekin-Su and Davide won last night.

While their fellow finalists all rushed to celebrate with the new winners, Gemma and Luca appeared to keep their distance slightly.

Some even noticed that the couple didn’t even hug each other or ‘show any affection’ after the result didn’t quite go their way.

One commented: ‘Gemma and Luca did not hug them when they won. First time the 2nd place doesn’t hug 1st  #LoveIsland.’

‘Nah the fact that Gemma and Luca didn’t even hug each other or show any affection once Ekinde was announced is killing me #LoveIsland,’ wrote another.

‘Lol Gemma and Luca are FUMING bless Ekin she just wanted to hug Gemma #LoveIsland,’ someone else added.

A viewer joked: ‘Luca and Gemma didn’t even kiss or hug lmaooooooooooo. No chemistry. Shows over #LoveIsland.’

Gemma was congratulated by her famous dad Michael Owen, who said the northerner had ‘done us proud’ after finishing in second place with Luca.
