Cardi B is set to take down a 2015 song in which she sampled Lady Leshurr, after the rapper claimed she hadn’t been credited or paid for its use.

Following Kelis calling out Beyonce for interpolating her song Milkshake on her new song Energy from her new album Renaissance, Lady Leshurr called out Cardi B for using one of her beats.

Lady Leshurr called Cardi out for sampling a beat from her 2015 song Queen’s Speech 4 on her track Cheap A** Weave.

She initially tweeted: ‘You mind asking Cardi if she can break me off a likkle change she used my beat/idea before her big break and is now a millionaire and I got paid 0.’

Cardi, 29, responded: ‘I made like 2 dollars of that song ….you want the other dollar?’

Lady Leshurr, 34, then replied: ‘would b nice but tbh I just wanted my credit and it’s mad I had to tweet banter 4 a response when I dm u years ago about it.

‘I was cool wen I thought it was just YT cover but it’s on streaming sites as “cheap azz weave” nw & urs comes up b4 mine so yes dollar and credit pls.’

While the track is still available on YouTube, Cardi promised in a later deleted tweet that she would have it removed from streaming services.

She responded: ‘I don’t find the song on apple but if it’s on any streaming service I will be makin sure it’s takin down including YouTube.’

Cardi then joked: ‘I will also make sure I send you your dollar. (sic)’

Lady Leshurr then shared a recorded message confirming that she was ‘bantering’ rather than having a feud with Cardi, and that there had been other ‘legal issues’ related to the beat.
