I’m a granny & treated myself to an expensive summer dress – I was stunned when the design looked VERY rude
A GRAN who thought she’d bagged a stylish floral summer dress was left in hysterics when it arrived ‘looking like a granny nighty decorated with vaginas’.
Jenni Rock fell in love with the £34.99 dress when she stumbled across an advert for it on social media and immediately ordered a size medium.

The midi dress, advertised as sporting a ‘unique design’ that’s ‘sure to turn heads’, was one the 56-year-old hoped to wear throughout summer.
And it certainly lived up to the hype as a head-turner when it landed on her doormat three weeks later due to its unusual appearance.
After tearing off the packaging Jenni discovered that it wasn’t a floral design, but was described by her horrified hubby Matthew as a ‘nighty with vaginas all over it’.
The retired civil servant and 47-year-old civil servant Matthew were left crying with laughter at the online shopping fail.

While trying to secure a refund for the dress, described by baffled social media users as featuring ‘vaginas encased in intestines’, Jenni said she’ll be ‘more wary’ shopping online in future.
Jenni, from Brackley, Northamptonshire, said: “On the website it was kind of like a floaty, tiered dress. I thought it was a flowery pattern.
“I thought it looked nice, summery, floaty and cool for the summer that I could wear for casual.
“When it arrived, it looked really weird. The top was supposed to be a bit fitted and it would tier out from there but it’s not like that at all. It’s just like a nanny’s nightie.

“I am a granny so it’s like my first granny nightie. As soon as I saw the pattern I thought ‘oh my god, I hate that’.
“My husband and I were crying with laughter because it was just hideous. It looks completely different, it looks like a hospital gown.
“It was the style first of all, he said ‘you can send that straight back’ and then he said ‘what is that on it? It looks like vaginas. Why would you make a nighty with vaginas all over it?’
“I was laughing and saying ‘I’m sure mine [vagina] doesn’t look like that’.
“I asked him if I should wear it with a belt and he said ‘absolutely not’ and I needed to send it back. He was shocked at the price.”
Retired Jenni shared a snap of her online shopping fail from The Berkshire Fashion Outlet on social media where people were quick to share how hilarious they found the incident.
Jenni wrote: “I like online shopping. Today I’ve had a funny but not so funny experience with what I ordered and what I got from an online company.
“My husband found it highly amusing as the pattern in his words ‘looks like lots of vaginas, why would you make a nightie with vaginas all over it’ (PS I don’t think mine [vagina] looks like this). Not the pretty floaty dress I was expecting.
“Notes to self, read the reviews before ordering, if it seems a bargain that’s because it’s provably cr*p and not like the picture.”
One commenter said: “That’s so cheered me up lol. They definitely haven’t sent the same dress.

Jenni said: “People have been saying it looks like a vagina, it looks like intestines, it’s hideous, send it back.
“Most of them have similar experiences of buying stuff online, you think it’s going to look a certain way and it looks completely different and you wonder how they get away with it.”
Jennie has requested a refund from the online retailer, but says she’s been told she could keep the dress and they’d give her a 50% refund, which she declined.
The mum-of-three says they then offered her a full refund if she posted the dress to China where the company is based at her expense.
Jenni is currently trying to get a refund from PayPal.
Jenni said: “I’ve never shopped there before. I saw an advert for the dress when I was on social media and I’m a little bit wary of going through links so I checked the site and looked for it on my normal browser.
“I did try to see if I could report a place like that but there wasn’t an option. I bought it through PayPal so I’m trying to get it back through them.
“I tried through the actual company and they said I could keep the dress and they’d refund me 50%.
“I said ‘that’s not acceptable’ then they offered me 75%. I told them I wanted a full refund then they said I could return it to China at my expense.

“I didn’t know it was coming from China. Part of me thinks I should have looked at the reviews because people do mention the return process on there.
“I won’t be ordering from them again and I’ll definitely be more wary shopping online.”
