Rebekah Vardy has promised she’s not struggling with getting work after losing her libel trial against Coleen Rooney, as she plans to remain in the public eye.

Wednesday night saw a chat between TalkTV’s Kate McCann and Vardy air on the network, in her first interview since last week’s verdict.

Vardy, 40, made several bombshell revelations during the hour-long chat and continued to deny that she leaked ‘false stories’ about Rooney, 36, to the media.

This is despite being publicly accused of doing so in October 2019 and in spite of her headline-grabbing loss in court.

And when asked by McCann whether she was worried about not being able to find work she ‘wants to do’, she reassured viewers she was having no trouble.

She replied: ‘No, there’s been quite a few offers on the table for lots of different things already.

‘For me, it’s important to find something that inspires me and something that’s meaningful and something I really, really want to do.’

Vardy has been seen on programmes such as I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! as well as Dancing On Ice in early 2021, which came amid the ongoing drama with Rooney.

But she also admitted that while she has no intention of bowing out of the public eye, she did go through ‘stages’ of considering whether it was the right thing to do.

She told McCann: ‘Do you know what? I did go through stages of thinking that, and then I thought, I don’t know… no. Probably not.

‘You’ll probably see me doing things that are different, want to concentrate on the horses and the kids, rebuilding the lost time I’ve had dealing with all these stresses.’

Vardy went on to say she plans to ‘rechannel and refocus’ her energy into ‘doing positive things’ after the outcome of the trial.

Elsewhere in the chat, Vardy cried while talking about the support she’s had from her husband while hitting back at the claim that Rooney’s lawyers tried to settle the case out of court.

While Rooney might not have given an interview after her win, the coverage surrounding the so-called ‘Wagatha Christie’ isn’t set to die down any time soon.

It was recently confirmed that Channel 4 had commissioned a TV drama all about what went down since Rooney’s memorable Instagram post in 2019.

So far, names such as Jodie Comer and Emerald Fennell have been suggested to play the roles of the Wags.

Rebekah Vardy’s TalkTV interview can be streamed in full online now.
