I tried Aldi’s £3.49 Olaplex dupes and here’s my VERY honest review
ALDI dropped a new four-piece haircare range and shoppers reckon it’s similar to top brand Olaplex.
Aisling Fitzgerald, who posts on TikTok as @dramaticmac, shared a video reviewing the hair products.

She said: “When these all came out last week, I rushed out and bought two bottles of everything.
“Because I was like, if I love this, it’s going to be a Holy Grail product, I want to have backups.”
The new Aldi Olaplex dupes include a Bonded Shampoo and Conditioner, as well as a Bonded Hair Pre-Wash Treatment and Bonded Dry Shampoo in the collection.
Aisling said: “I would never review hair products and less I’ve been using it for like less than a month.

“I think that’s what all you guys were like, wondering, was the product similar to Olaplex?
“No, absolutely no way on earth are these dupes for Olaplex.”
The new Bonded collection aims to hydrate locks, repair broken and damaged hair and providing a thorough cleanse.
She said: “First off, the ingredients are not great.”
She filmed her review some days after using the products.
BONDED PRE WASH
Aisling continued: “The first thing I used was the pre wash and I put it into damp hair.
“And it kind of was squeaky as it was going through my hair. I don’t know if you guys know what I’m kind of talking about.
“And not in a good way not like squeaky clean.”
The beauty lover said the product was “grippy” as if it was “dragging” her hair.
She added: “And I didn’t feel like it did anything to my hair.”
BONDED SHAMPOO
Aisling generally uses Alfaparf and Kerastyle products.
She said: “I felt like the formula was good consistency, it was thick.
“I felt like a little bit of it went a long way which I really liked to see because that’s what I kind of experienced with most of my high end shampoos.”
But Aisling reckons the shampoo did nothing for her locks.
She said: “You need the tiniest amount, hence why they last so long.
“But again, when I washed this out of my hair, I felt like it was really like grippy and I did not like the feel of my hair afterwards.
“I felt like it was like a bird’s nest – really, really dry.
“Absolutely no moisture or hydration at all in my hair.”
And she said it left her hair feeling like it was “matting”.
Aisling continued: “I have keratin extensions.
“I’ve had them for 10 years so I know what shampoos and conditioners I enjoy and this was definitely not for me.”
BONDED CONDITIONER
The conditioner includes Avocado and Argan oil, which provide nourishing oils to hydrate dry hair.
Aisling said: “Same complaint with the conditioner it left my hair feeling really nice afterwards but when I was applying it through my hair, I felt like I needed a lot more of this product than I normally would with my higher end conditioners.”
The TikToker said her hair was left dry and like “straw” after blow drying.
She said: “After blow drying my hair after using these products, my hair was like straw hay, just no moisture whatsoever.
“Sadly, these get a massive thumbs down for me.”
And the beauty lover explained she will be returning the extra products she had bought.
Aisling added: “I hate giving a bad review, but I have to be honest.”
Followers thanked her for her honesty.
