Luca Bish has reportedly admitted Gemma Owen ‘has the hump’ after a row during the Love Island reunion on Thursday.

The fishmonger and Michael Owen’s eldest daughter finished second to Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti in the final on Monday, after a rollercoaster ride in the villa.

The pair were spotted not looking particularly happy, with Gemma trying to hide her face as they both entered the hotel separately.

Sensing trouble in paradise, a photographer quipped to the pair ‘You’ve got your hands full there,’ according to The Mirror.

Luca replied: ‘Oh don’t mate! She’s got the right hump with me!’

However, things seemed to have settled down again this morning, as Luca shared his first social media update, with Gemma by his side.

Having now returned home, Luca posted on Instagram: ‘Back to the real world.

‘Thank you so much for all the support you’ve shown.

‘Love Island was the best and also most challenging experience all rolled into one for me.

‘I’ve left with life lessons, best friends, and a beautiful girl by my side.

‘So ready for the next chapter.’

Luca’s post comes before Gemma has shared a picture of the couple, although she promised to keep fans ‘updated’ with her journey.

‘It’s so good to be back home after what has been an incredible and unforgettable experience,’ she penned. ‘I am genuinely so grateful for all the support throughout, thank you so much.

‘I’m looking forward to the next chapter now and will keep you updated on the journey.’

Towards the end of this year’s Love Island, the fishmonger came under fire when he blew up over Gemma licking Adam Collard during a challenge.

His family fiercely defended him at the time, with a message posted on his social media account reading: ‘9/10 weeks of not contact with family. It’s a crazy intense environment where emotions are heightened.

‘Learning to have disagreements and resolve them it is part of all successful relationships. Society preaches men not to bottle things up and to open up???

Luca’s mum also subtly hit back at the trolls when greeting her son at the airport in a top that read: ‘Head high and f*** em all.
