Andrew Le Page has insisted he didn’t think his infamous line about Coco Lodge would be shown on Love Island. Boy was he wrong.

The real estate agent came in fourth place with girlfriend Tasha Ghouri last week in the show’s finale, but has recalled a less than stellar moment after the Casa Amor recoupling.

Before they were loved-up and in the Love Island finale, Andrew had chosen to recouple with Coco, while Tasha returned to the villa hand in hand with Billy Brown.

An explosive row followed, with Andrew accusing Tasha of being ‘fake’ before revealing some intimate moments that happened while she was in Casa Amor.

In revealing his hook-up with Coco, after she had told the ladies in the villa she did a little more than kiss Andrew, he told Tasha he ‘licked her tit or whatever’.

And thus spawned a series of memes – cakes and songs were even made with the quote.

Addressing the now-famous moment on tonight’s Reunion show, host Laura Whitmore enquired as to Andrew’s feelings his throwaway phrase was known around the country, nay, world.

He explained: ‘To be fair, I didn’t think that would ever be shown.

‘When I watched it on the final I thought “oh my god, I can’t believe they used that”.’

Still, no hard feelings, with Tasha revealing she knew she’d get over the hiccup and they’d go on to reunite somehow.

She said: ‘At the time I was hurt but I knew deep down I was gonna get over it. When you have that connection you find yourself back to one another.’

While filling everyone in on their exploits post-villa, as the pair returned home to London, Tasha revealed the famous ‘salon’ had been in use, explained the ‘final’ step had been done.

Tasha went on: ‘Oh yeah, had a few manicures. Have to make the most out of it.’

When Laura asked whether Andrew has got ‘the full treatment as well’ they joked hopefully Tasha’s dad wasn’t watching after his hilarious mention of the ‘salon’ – which was code used by the islanders for sexual moments – in the Meet The Parents episode.

Love Island is available on the ITV Hub.
