Love Island’s Jacques O’Neill and Antigoni Buxton were seen smiling from ear to ear as they enjoyed a friendly night out in Manchester.

They may not have found love in the villa, but it seems like the 26-year-old singer and the rugby ace, 23 have formed a beautiful bestie bond.

Antigoni looked chic in a white ruched split maxi dress, while the rugby ace, 23, opted for comfort in a black hoodie and grey trousers, as they headed to Peter Street Kitchen.

After the pair shared a snap of them treating their mothers to brunch a couple of weeks back, rumours started to swirl over Antigoni and Jacques’ relationship status.

But the musician tolld Mail Online: ‘Me and Jacques are definitely not a thing. People can’t believe that a boy and girl can just be friends.’

Meanwhile, fellow contestant Charlie Radnedge, 28, also denied Antigoni and Jaques were dating amid increased speculation.

After a fan questioned whether there was any romance between the pair on TikTok, Charlie said: ‘Antigoni and Jacques are definitely not dating, they’re just good friends.

‘Everyone keeps on asking this at the moment. Similar to myself and Antigoni, we’re securely in the friend zone.’

As for the other finalists, it’s been a hectic week as they landed in the UK on Wednesday and filmed the reunion special on Thursday evening.

Fans will get the chance to see their winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti join the rest of the cast to catch up on everything that’s happened in the last few days. 

Fan favourites Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti were crowned the winners of this year’s series after a rollercoaster ride of explosive bust-ups and tear-jerking moments.

While Antigoni attended the reunion, Jacques and former island Afia Tonkmor were a no-show.

It was reported that Jacques snubbed the event to avoid an awkward interaction between him and former flame Paige Thorne, who coupled up with returning bombshell Adam Collard after Jacques quit the show.

Love Island’s reunion episode airs at 9pm on Sunday on ITV2.
