First Dates waitress Laura Tott has thanked friends and family for ‘the best day of her life’ after tying the knot with her partner, Sean.

The former paramedic turned TV star said there was ‘so much I want to write’ about the occasion as she shared a selection of pictures to her Instagram.

Ms Tott rose to fame on the Channel 4 dating show.

Posting on Instagram she wrote: ‘Mr & Mrs Clarke. 07.08.22.

‘There is so much I want to write, and so many people I want to thank for the best day of our life, but for now it’s honeymoon time & our time to fully unwind.

‘Thanks for every single gorgeous message so far.’

Photos showed the couple sharing kisses in front of the congregation and on the beach as well as dancing at an afterparty.

Laura opted for a low-backed gown with a lace applique V-neck bodice and tiered organza skirt from Canadian brand Paloma Blanca’s Fall 2022 collection.

The bride accessorised her dress with a matching floor-length veil and wore her blonde hair in a low chignon, while her groom wore beige trousers, white shirt, pink tie and a blue jacket for their summer-appropriate big day.

She revealed last June that she was engaged, posting a picture of herself on holiday in a swimming pool as she held her left hand over her face to show off her diamond engagement ring.

At the time she confirmed that she kept her relationship private but wanted to share the happy news.

‘Well I better get planning that hen do 😜💍,’ she joked, adding: ‘[I] always keep my relationship off social media and I love that it’s just for me, but wanted to share this with you all cos I’m absolutely over the moon.’

Having become a fully-registered paramedic in 2020, after finding fame on the Channel 4 dating show, she missed out on appearing in the last series as it moved locations.

First Dates moved its location from London’s Paternoster Chop House near St Paul’s Cathedral to a new restaurant in Manchester.

Revealing on Instagram at the time that the show had wanted to ‘freshen up the team for this series with some new local faces among the old faces’, Laura didn’t feature but admitted: ‘To be honest, I don’t actually know how I would have fit filming in this year with working during the pandemic.’

‘I’ve needed every day off to chill out so it’s actually been a welcome break. I’ve missed the whole team though, that’s for sure.’  She also revealed her hopes to return, penning: ‘This doesn’t mean it’s over and I’m still very much part of the First Dates family and hopefully I’ll be back again real soon.’

First Dates is available for catch-up on All 4.
