Love Island star Faye Winter has revealed she is still in therapy after spending the summer in the Majorcan villa last year.
The 26-year-old is still going strong with Teddy Soares, after coupling up with the ex-senior financial consultant in the ITV2 programme.
But their relationship hit a few rough patches, with the former lettings manager attracting almost 25,000 Ofcom complaints – a record for the reality series – during an explosive row.
Viewers were left upset when Faye started shouting at the 26-year-old after she was shown a video of him admitting he was attracted to Casa Amor bombshell Clarisse Juliette.
Returning to the UK after Spain, the ex-islander said the ‘backlash’ from the row was ‘hard to deal with.’
‘I still have so many blocked words on my Instagram account and it took me a while before I could look at those words,’ she added.
Reflecting on her experience on Love Island, Faye revealed she ‘lost myself when I came out of the show.’

She explained to The Sun: ‘But if I wasn’t in that high-pressured environment I don’t think I’d have learned as quickly as I did in that situation.
‘It helped me more than it hindered me. I didn’t even realise I needed therapy until I went into the Love Island villa.’
The Devon-born TV personality went on to say she was ‘still in therapy’, adding: ‘I think I’ll be doing it for a long time.’

Faye disclosed: ‘I’ve always been very outspoken, I am myself, and if I need a bit of help along the way, then that’s OK.
‘I’ve been very open and honest about what I’ve had done.’

Since Love Island ended, Faye and Teddy have settled down in a Berkshire village and taken on a home renovation project.
As the loved-up pair exclusively told Metro.co.uk they had spent a while finding a home as they wanted it to be the right one.

Teddy said: ‘There’s a lot of lovely places, but this place just feels warm every time we step through the doors. Even though it’s pretty much empty, the fact that we’re both in it, it feels like home.’
The influencer has also admitted she had her lip filler dissolved on Instagram, with the end result drawing comparisons to Killing Eve actor Jodie Comer.
Tonight, she will be among the first batch of cooks hoping to impress Gregg Wallace and John Torode on Celebrity MasterChef.
She’ll be joined by Paul Chuckle, Nancy Del’Olio Danny Jones and comedian Kau Kurd.
Celebrity MasterChef airs tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
