Andrew Le Page has spoken out after fans spotted he had unfollowed fellow Love Island star, Jacques O’Neill, on social media.

Andrew and Tasha Ghouri came fourth on Love Island, after being put together by the public in the first episode.

Despite a minor blip post-Casa Amor, the pair soon reconciled and went on to become boyfriend and girlfriend, and declared their love for each other in the final.

However, the pair have since become embroiled in a bit of drama with Jacques, who mocked the sweet moment in a video to have recently circulated online.

When it was Tasha’s turn to declare her love for Andrew, Jacques quoted Davide Sanclimenti’s iconic line: ‘You are a liar, actress, get the f**k out.’

The pair both subsequently unfollowed the former professional rugby star on social media after the footage emerged.

Now Andrew has addressed the situation during a chat on Heat’s Under the Duvet alongside Paige Thorne, Adam Collard, Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope.

‘Yeah, it obviously is true [I unfollowed Jacques],’ Andrew told hosts Harriet Rose and Chris Taylor.

When fans spotted Andrew’s actions, they flocked to social media to praise him being ‘a supportive boyfriend’ to Tasha, amid the ongoing drama.

Andrew went on to add to Heat: ‘Tasha is my priority and obviously, there was a video that came out.

‘We’re trying to move away from it all and just be ourselves and get on with life.’

It comes as Jacques himself addressed the various drama after he found himself in spats with several islanders.

As well as Tasha, Jacques has made comments at the expense of both Adam Collard and Remi Lambert, with the latter accusing him of ‘bullying.’

An Instagram Live of Jacques and Luca Bish went viral over the weekend, where they joked about Remi’s rapping; it came after the islander already shared ‘unaired rows’ that went on between himself and Jacques.

In a statement on Thursday afternoon, Jacques acknowledged his behaviour and issued an apology on his social media accounts.

He began: ‘I want to acknowledge the situation that’s happening right now and apologise if my behaviour has caused offence or been misinterpreted the last few weeks.

‘I genuinely have no bad feelings towards anyone and I’ve not meant for anything to come across that way at all. It was not my intention and I’m genuinely sorry if it has. Life has been very overwhelming recently and admittedly I’ve probably not handled myself in the best possible way. I take full responsibility for my actions.

‘I’m aware I’m far from perfect and that there is work that needs to be done on myself,’ he added, before revealing he is now in therapy.

Love Island can be streamed in full on the ITV Hub now.
