Now, a savvy fashionista has shared how she’s now making big money after deciding to rent out her wardrobe for just that reason.

Sarah Guild revealed she was fed up of buying outfits for various weddings and never wearing them again.
So Sarah, who has a TikTok profile under the name @sarah_guild, decided to get creative.
In a TikTok post titled “how to make wedding season make money for you”, the fashion fan was seen modelling a gorgeous lemon silk maxi dress.
She then explained how that and other outfits were helping to boost her bank balance after she’d listed them on popular rental site Hurr.

Sarah explained: “I currently make £££ a month renting out dresses I already own that I’ve worn to previous weddings on fashion rental sites like Hurr.”
She continued: “The dress cost around £100 to rent on Hurr yet it is £800 to buy new. I’ve done the maths, I’m +£££.”
Addressing her yellow outfit, Sarah added: “So this pure silky sunny number is not only sustainable sunshine for the planet, but pure sunshine for my bank balance.
